FAYETTEVILLE - Medical Associates of Northwest Arkansas welcomes two new staff members.
Sara Butler Russell,WHNP-BC, APRN, joined the group at Renaissance Women’s Healthcare, 3302 N. North Hills Boulevard in Fayetteville in December.
Russell has a Bachelor’s degree in International Economics and Business from the University of Arkansas Fayetteville, and a Master’s degree in Nursing from Vanderbilt University in Nashville. Prior to joining - Renaissance, Sara Butler Russell was a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner at Planned Parenthood in Tulsa and Community Clinic in Springdale, and then served as school nurse and an instructor at Haas Hall Academy in Fayetteville.
Genessa Newberry, RN, BSN, joined as the Clinic Administrator of Primary Care in October. Newberry brings 20 years of experience as a healthcare professional to MANA.
In her role as Clinic Administrator of Primary Care, Newberry will oversee clinical operations for MANA Family Medicine, MANA Urgent Care, and Northwest Arkansas Pediatrics as well as leading the marketing and communications department to develop and implement strategic objectives.
Newberry has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Central Oklahoma. She is a member of the Medical Group Management Association and has completed training in International Health Leadership and Developing Trauma Informed Organizations. Newberry is an experienced healthcare professional who has led diverse teams to serve clients from various cultural backgrounds and
experiences. Prior to joining MANA, she served as the Director of International Operations for Help One
Now in Arkansas; the Africa Operations Director for Help One Now and Medical Management Liaison for Amazima in Uganda, Africa; and the Pre/Post-Operative Nursing Manager in Outpatient Surgery at Northwest Medical Center in Arkansas.
