CONWAY – Conway Regional Health System is proud to announce the addition of Austin Cole, MD, to the team at Conway Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center and is accepting new patients of all ages.
Dr. Cole recently completed his fellowship in sports medicine and a mini fellowship in sports
foot and ankle at the University of Kansas Health System. A Conway native, Dr. Cole graduated
from Conway High School in 2010 before pursuing his undergraduate studies at the University
of Arkansas. He earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences
in 2018. Dr. Cole then completed his orthopedic residency at the Prisma Health Orthopedic
Surgery Program in Greenville, South Carolina, in 2023.
Dr. Cole’s treatment encompasses muscle tears, sports hernias, bone fractures, ACL and knee
instability, shoulder instability, rotator cuff injuries, and more. He is skilled in performing hip
arthroscopies, total and partial knee replacements, total shoulder replacements, and more.
“I am honored to return to Conway and begin my practice here,” said Dr. Cole. “Serving the
community where I grew up is a privilege, and I look forward to building lasting relationships
with my patients and contributing to their well-being with high-quality, compassionate care.”
During his fellowship, Dr. Cole played a vital role in the care of the Kansas City Chiefs
throughout their back-to-back Super Bowl seasons and supported the Kansas City Royals,
including their Dominican Republic Training Academy and Arizona Spring Training. Dr. Cole also
contributed to the care of the University of Kansas Athletics, encompassing their renowned
basketball program, football, track and field, and baseball teams.
