CONWAY – Conway Regional Health System is proud to announce the addition of Daniel Hester, MD, to the hospitalist team at Conway Regional Medical Center and the Conway Regional Hendrix Medical Clinic. Hester will also provide care at the Conway Regional Hendrix Medical Clinic alongside Gina McNew, MD, and Necie Reed, APRN.
Hester earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi, in 2016. He completed a residency in Combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 2020, followed by a fellowship in Geriatrics at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2021.
For the past three years, Dr. Hester has served as an attending physician at Yalobusha Health Services in Water Valley, Mississippi.
“Dr. Hester brings a unique combination of primary care and specialized skills that will be an
asset to both our primary care team at the Hendrix Medical Clinic and our hospitalist team at
Conway Regional Medical Center,” said Rebekah Fincher, Chief Administrative Officer at
Conway Regional Health System. “His training in internal medicine, pediatrics, and geriatrics will
strengthen the comprehensive, patient-centered care we provide, whether in the clinic or in
the hospital setting.”
Conway Regional Medical Center hospitalists play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality,
patient-centered healthcare, contributing to the overall excellence of the hospital. Conway
Regional Medical Center hospitalists oversee the entire continuum of inpatient care with a
multidisciplinary team approach. All hospitalists also serve as teaching faculty for the residency
programs, whether on inpatient or ICU services.
