FAYETTEVILLE - Washington Regional Hospice has been named a 2016 Hospice Honors recipient by Deyta Analytics, a data-gathering company that partners with thousands of hospice, home health, human services and healthcare organizations.
The award recognizes hospice agencies that continuously provide the highest level of satisfaction through their care, as measured from the point of view of the patient’s caregiver, who is often a family member. Award criteria were based on survey results from Hospice CAHPS, or Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems, for an evaluation period of April through September 2015. Out of 1,466 eligible hospice agencies nationwide, only 238 were selected for Hospice Honors.
This recognition is especially significant because it comes from patients' families according to Paula Hartz, director of Washington Regional Hospice.
