CONWAY – A pulmonologist, interventional cardiologist and orthopaedic surgeon have joined the Conway Regional Health System.
Ladly Abraham, MD, a pulmonologist, recently relocated Central Arkansas Lung to the area.
He has more than 15 years of experience in the practice of Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine with Pulmonology Associates, PA in Little Rock. Abraham is also a past program director for the Intensivist Program at CHI St. Vincent Infirmary.
Abraham completed a three-year fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and Sleep Medicine at Rush Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago and a three-year residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Massachusetts-Memorial in Worcester, MA. He holds a medical degree from Kasturba Medical College in Manipal, India.
Lensey Scott, MD, interventional cardiologist, has been a member of the active medical staff at Conway Regional Health System since September of 2015. Effective Oct. 1, Scott became a partner with Conway Regional and the Jack Stephens Heart Institute at CHI St. Vincent and is currently in practice with Don Steely, MD.
Scott treats patients who have risks or symptoms of cardiovascular diseases such as heart failure, heart attacks, angina and heart valve problems. He also treats patients with leg pain and peripheral arterial disease, a common circulatory problem in which narrowed arteries reduce blood flow to the limbs.
Scott holds a medical degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee and completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Scott completed a four-year cardiology fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson as well as a two-year cardiovascular research fellowship at the University of Utah. Most recently he completed a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at DMC Cardiovascular Institute at Detroit Medical Center.
James Head, MD, an orthopaedic surgeon, has begun practice at Conway Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Clinic and is accepting new patients.
Head has completed a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at Florida Orthopaedic Institute and a five-year residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Oklahoma. He holds a medical degree from UAMS in Little Rock.
Head is a graduate of UCA and makes his home in Conway with his wife, Amanda, and daughter, Kylie.
Dr. Head is from Heber Springs and graduated from Heber Springs High School. His hobbies include spending time with his family, hunting and fishing.
