CONWAY - Dr. Laurence Lo recently joined the Baptist Health Surgical and Specialty Clinic-Conway, which provides both general and bariatric surgery consultations and post-operative visits.
Lo, who has been practicing medicine for 30 years, received his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago and completed his surgical residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and has certifications in fundamentals of laparoscopic surgery and ATLS. His special interests include gastro-esophageal reflux disease, breast cancer, advanced laparoscopy and upper and lower endoscopy.
Before joining Baptist Health Surgical and Specialty Clinic-Conway, Lo was the trauma medical director for Sparks Health Systems in Fort Smith as well as a surgeon with Surgical Associates of Fort Smith.
Drs. John Baker and John Dunn are the other two providers at the clinic. Baker earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University Medical Center-Shreveport and completed his internship and residency at LSU Hospital. He is a leading expert in the surgical treatment of obesity with over 20 years of experience. Over his career, Baker has performed close to 3,000 weight-loss surgical procedures.
Dunn received his medical degree from the University of North Carolina and completed his residency for general surgery at Vanderbilt University Affiliated Hospitals in Nashville, Tennessee. He is also fellowship trained in organ transplantation. For the past 14 years, Dunn has served as the surgical director for the kidney transplant program at both Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock and Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
