Jennifer Hood, D.O., Joins MANA Pulmonary Medicine

Fayetteville –Jennifer Hood, D.O., joined MANA’s Pulmonary Medicine Clinic inside Fayetteville Diagnostic Clinic at 3344 N. Futrall Drive in Fayetteville on September 3. Hood is a pulmonary and critical care medicine physician who provides expert evaluation and treatment for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder (COPD), asthma, lung masses, pneumonia, and other diseases and infections of the lung.

Hood’s education and training include a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma; an Internship in Internal Medicine from Oklahoma State University College of Medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma; and a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine from Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in Temple, Texas.

Hood was named the Chief Resident during her Internal Medicine Residency and was awarded the Touch Award for her community service both at Oklahoma State University Medical Center. At Baylor Scott and White Medical Center, Hood joined the John Montgomery Gold Humanism Honor Society for practicing patient-centered medical care by modeling integrity, excellence, compassion, altruism, respect, and empathy.
