MAUMELLE – The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) has opened a new UAMS Neighborhood Clinic offering convenient, high-quality primary care services in Maumelle.
The clinic, located on Town Centre Drive in Maumelle, is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday. It offers primary care services to those 12 and older.
Services offered at the clinic, which opened in November include annual exams and preventive care, treatment for illnesses that arise unexpectedly and management of ongoing medical conditions.
The clinic will be led by Michael Stout, MD, who is board certified in family medicine and has been practicing in Little Rock for 18 years. Stout graduated from Arkansas Tech with a bachelor’s degree in biology and received his medical degree from UAMS. He completed a three-year residency with the UAMS Department of Family and Preventive Medicine.
