FAYETTEVILLE - Area leaders celebrated the official groundbreaking for a medical services building designed to improve patient access to clinics. Washington Regional Medical Plaza is set to open in early 2017 at the corner of Bob Younkin Drive and Appleby Road in Fayetteville.
The four-story building, set on 5.22 acres, will offer more than 66,300 square feet of space to accommodate a variety of medical services in a convenient location. Some of the services slated for the building include: Urgent care, family practice, internal medicine, urology, endocrinology and gynecologic oncology.
- Outpatient imaging center with on-site radiologists, providing X-ray, MRI, CT, Ultrasound and Fluoroscopy
Located across Appleby Road from Washington Regional Medical Center, the building is designed so that the urgent care clinic and imaging center can be served by the hospital’s backup generator, ensuring that vital medical services remain available if needed during a community emergency response.
The construction project is part of Washington Regional’s plan to meet the healthcare needs of Northwest Arkansas, according to Bill Bradley, Washington Regional president/CEO. Designed by Key Architecture, Inc., the facility will be built by CDI Contractors.
