LITTLE ROCK - Melissa Kizilos, MD, CPXP* has joined Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield as corporate medical director for BlueAdvantage National Accounts. In this role, she will serve as a clinical resource and adviser to clients whose health plans cover members throughout the United States.

Most recently, she served as medical director, Care Management and HCCU (Highly Complex Case Unit) at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota.

She is board-certified in Internal Medicine.

Dr. Kizilos earned a bachelor's degree from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Mass., and received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
