HARRISON - North Arkansas Regional Medical Center (NARMC) is excited to have Dr. Vivian Lipton, MD, MPH, as a highly valued member of the Family Medicine
Clinic in Harrison, situated at 724 North Spring Street. Dr. Lipton brings with her an impressive background, holding board certifications in Family Medicine with Obstetrics and Obesity Medicine, making her a versatile and accomplished medical professional. (#drliptondelivers)
Dr. Lipton's educational journey showcases her dedication to the field of medicine. She
graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University in 1996 and pursued further studies to earn a Master of Public Health from New Mexico State University in 2010. In 2016, she achieved her Doctor of Medicine degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas.
As a Board-Certified Family Physician with a specialization in Mom-Baby care, Dr. Lipton
understands the significance of pregnancy in a woman's life and is passionate about promoting maternal health to ensure the well-being of families. Her journey into maternal care began as a Childbirth Educator and Doula, eventually leading her to become a Certified Professional Midwife. Over the course of a decade, she attended hundreds of deliveries, enriching her expertise in caring for expectant mothers.
Driven by a desire to expand her knowledge and skills, she pursued further education and training, obtaining a medical degree and completing a residency in Family Medicine with an additional focus on Obstetrics. Her philosophy of being "with woman" during the journey to motherhood profoundly influences her approach to patient care, emphasizing partnership and support to optimize the health and well-being of her patients.
Beyond her expertise in Mom-Baby care, Dr. Lipton is adept at treating a wide range of health concerns for individuals of all ages within the family. Her love for pediatric patients is evident, and her personal experience as a mother to 10 children allows her to empathize with the challenges faced by parents and children alike.

She is a trailblazer who has already headed up our recent initiative “Better Me in 23” which provided community outreach and education regarding nutritional and physical health.
