North Arkansas Regional Medical Center Welcomes Loren Lomax as New Director of Surgical Services

HARRISON — North Arkansas Regional Medical Center (NARMC) is delighted to announce the appointment of Loren Lomax as the new Director of Surgical Services. With an impressive background in healthcare management and a deep commitment
to patient-centered care, Lomax is poised to lead the Surgical Services department to even greater heights of excellence.

In his new role as the Director of Surgical Services, Lomax will assume responsibility for
overseeing all surgical operations at NARMC. This includes the coordination of surgical
procedures, ensuring the utmost quality of patient care, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation among the surgical staff.

"His extensive experience in healthcare administration and his dedication to enhancing patient outcomes make him an ideal fit for this crucial role. We are confident that his leadership will continue to uphold and elevate the high standards of care NARMC surgical services provide.”

Lomax's academic achievements include graduating with honors from the Field Medical Service School at Camp Pendleton in California, Naval Aerospace Medicine School in Pensacola, Florida, and Naval Hospital Corpsman School in Great Lakes, Illinois. He went on to receive his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arkansas Tech University, and his Master of Science in Nursing Administration and Emergency Management from the same institution.

He has been happily married to Cathy for 25 years, and together they have two daughters: Hannah, who is 22 years old, and Sarah, who is 18 years old. Both of his daughters are actively involved in pageants. Hannah, in particular, holds the title of Miss Arkansas Tech University, where she is pursuing a dual degree in Music Performance and Biochemistry. Notably, this marks Hannah's third consecutive year participating in the Miss Arkansas competition. Meanwhile, Sarah is entering her senior year of high school.

With over 34 years of nursing experience and more than 8 years of progressive leadership in healthcare administration, Lomax brings an abundance of knowledge and experience to his new role. Among his achievements are the successful implementation of streamlined surgical protocols, optimization of workflows, and the establishment of a culture that emphasizes continuous improvement.
